Â鶹´«Ã½ and Deering High's global initiatives partnership covered by the Forecaster

The Forecaster on Jan. 29th ran a story on the new partnership between Deering High School and Â鶹´«Ã½'s Global Initiatives Program.

As a result of the new partnership, Deering students will be able to attend lectures by international experts at Â鶹´«Ã½â€™s Portland campus.  Â鶹´«Ã½ students who have travelled abroad will also share their experiences with Deering students.  Â鶹´«Ã½ faculty will provide professional development for Deering’s staff on topics such as the importance of developing a global outlook. Â鶹´«Ã½'s Associate Provost for Global Initiatives, Anouar Majid, Ph.D., was quoted in the story.
